Foster or Volunteer
This is one of the simplest ways to help out our cause. We believe the best way for our initiatives to be successful is for the community to actively get involved. This is an easy and efficient way of contributing to the great work we do at Road Dogg Rescue. We're always looking for animal fosters and could always use help at our storefront or at adoption events.
About Our Process
Fosters are responsible for the day to day care of the dog / puppy. Fosters provide photos & bios for our dogs / puppies to advertise them on our facebook / website. We ask our fosters to commit to their dog / puppy until adoption. All supplies will be provided by the rescue.
At weekends we hold adoption events, these are communicated in the foster feed & advertised on the facebook page. The adoption process is the same. If you are asked any questions that you are unsure of the answer, direct the adopter to an admin.
www.roaddoggrescue.com1. Adopters submit an application on our website:
2. An Admin contacts them & completes homecheck & interview.
3. Once the application is approved, the admin will pass details to the foster to arrange a meet & greet.
4. Adopters may take the dog / puppy home from the meet & greet AFTER payment on the website under ‘Payments & Donations’.
Fees & Vetting
Puppy Adoption Fee - $300 this includes: Core puppy vaccines, Wormer, Microchip, then at 4-6mo: Rabies Vaccine & Spay / Neuter.
